| Race Results for “Runnin’ the 9’s” 9K Wednesday…09/09/09…9:09pm Hogan Park Golf Course, Midland, Texas Sponsored by: First Baptist Church Activities Ministry We had another successful race Wednesday night; the most recent edition in our series of palindromic date-centered sporting events. 54 runners braved the stormy skies and very dark night. There was no award given to the overall winner, nor to any age-group winners. Rather, awards were given to runners whose finishing place ended in 9 (9, 19, 29, 39, etc.) or was a multiple of 9 (18, 27, 36, 45, etc.) It was a fun race, and planning has already begun for next year’s 10-10-10 10K. |
